Vaelo was built by a solo founder—Smeet Mehta, a B.Tech CSE AI/ML student at VIT Chennai—with a singular goal: to bring financial analysis down to a price point and workflow that works for India's smallest CA practices.

Independent Chartered Accountants are increasingly asked for strategic advice—CMA prep, health modeling, and feasibility. However, the tooling required to deliver rigorous analysis is often locked behind expensive enterprise licenses, and building deterministic models from scratch takes time that working practices simply don't have.
